Meet Sheri

Sheri Weiner is a community leader and audiologist who served as councilmember for Bellevue's District 22 from 2011 through 2019. She's known as a responsive and collaborative leader who has played a major role in Bellevue's progress.

During her first two terms, Sheri played a major role in the renovation of Bellevue, where she led the efforts to build One Bellevue Place on the site of the long-dead mall, the Predators' Ford Ice Center, our regional community center, the new Red Caboose Park playground, and the new fire hall. She also played critical roles in the construction of Bellevue's library and James Lawson High School.

Sheri is the Chair of the Metro Nashville Board of Fair Commissioners, served as President Pro Tem of the Metro Council, and acted as Vice Mayor in 2018. She serves on the Boards of Arts Bellevue, the Bellevue Community Foundation (VP), the Bellevue Harpeth Chamber of Commerce, and the Bellevue Harpeth Historic Association, and she is a member of Bellevue Exchange Club.

Sher has two daughters (Alison and Andrea), two sons-in-law (Chuck and Kevin), two grandchildren (Brayden and Leo), and two rescue dogs (Foster and Shay).
